About
I began knitting around the age of 5 when my mom taught me how to knit dish cloths. I did that off and on as a young boy and then stopped knitting until my mid-twenties. I started in again with my very first sweater, a cable-knit. That lasted for a short time and I stopped knitting again until my niece Claire was conceived. I picked up my needles to knit her a receiving blanket and have been totally addicted ever since. I have been accused of starting way too many projects and never finishing them. I vehemently deny this, but do acknowledge that it took me about 18 years to finish that cable-knit sweater!
I work as a systems analyst at a children’s hospital in Kansas City. In addition, I have my own part-time massage therapy practice. I love to knit! I also sing in my volunteer church choir, read, and snow ski.
